Secret Family Recipes..
oops! you found them~ They are supposed to be secret (sssshhh! don’t tell anyone..)

I will be periodically posting well loved recipes from our family cook book-some as far back as 4 generations! My Grandpa, before he passed away- compiled and put together an actual book of recipes- each submitted by different family members. (and it is a big family, let me tell you)

My Grandpa worked in a Bakery for many years, until he retired. I have a sweet childhood memory of the smell of donuts and fresh bakery bread whenever I visited him.

So I dedicate this to you Grandpa ~ RIP,  I miss your smile, your big bear hugs and your baked goodies too!

As with many old family recipes, there really isn’t a recipe. I know. That’s very frustrating. But it’s true. There are general guidelines that every family adapts to suit their own tastes and some know the recipe only in their head… So I had to edit some of them to make the instructions a little more clear and complete- but if you have any questions on a recipe, just send me a message and I will try to decipher it for you!
