I have never actually been to New Orleans- but I love hearing the Mardi Gras stories, seeing pictures of the vivid colors dancing around the streets- and I can almost smell Café du Monde from here! SO, with Beignets and Gumbo on the mind, I began crusin’ around Pinterest, to see if I could find some great recipes ideas for Mardi Gras- And here is one I thought looked simply divine~
I love this recipe because these babies are not just super, super delicious, but they are so easy! The dough can be made the night before and refrigerated, and they only require one short rise.
